Below are some recent finds made the last 3-4 weeks, A mixture of park finds from a local area and relic's from an 1820-30's adobe site. Some of coins are made by the goldtrax, And the rest from the T-2 and Explorer. But all of the relics are made with the T-2 as I wanted to make sure it's up and running for my trip across the pond, I'll be taking both the T-2 and Baron/Goldtrax on the England trip next year. I feel very comfortable using these two detectors, From what I am seeing and am experiencing here in California they are the best for relic detecting.
Pictured Above, Are most of the best finds from the adobe site. I was luckily enough to get two phoenix buttons and a reale made into a button, And several gilt buttons and the usually mission era stuff plus part of a gun/rifle trigger.
Here's one of the two Phoenix buttons (No.29) I found along side one of the several gilt buttons,
Above, Another Phoenix button (No.6) and the reale which was made into a button,
Here's the back side of the reale which is now a button,
Some local park silver, One Indian penny and some wheat back pennies.
A close-up pic of the seated peru, That was a surprise and she sure looks like one of our seated coins.
And last, A pre-1876 school site I discrovered. Nothing left but square nails and bits and pieces of brick, Still may detect this area again in the future, Got to be a old coin or two in there. HH, Paul (Ca)
