I think mine is a bit smaller JB,
However, That doesn't mean yours is not a 1/4 reale. Depending on the year or area the coin is minted they vary in size, Yours may still be a 1/4 reale but a little larger and earlier than other 1/4 reales.
I noticed this yesterday at the book store as I was searching for an ID on my reale, Seen several different sizes yet they are all 1/4 reales....I think yours is a 1/4 reale because an earlier 1/2 reale would be about the size your coin is.
I lost my last World coin book, Had two of them and gave one away. Yesterday at the book store they retail for $65.00 
You guys found some old coins that's for sure at the Taylor Inn stagestop, And memories are a fine themselves
