The Microchip used in the newer Baron CoinTrax modules is being discontinued by Motorola. However, based upon the information I have that's about 2 to 3 years from now. Generally these companies let everyone know way ahead of time before the parts become unavailable. The older Microchip used in the original CoinTrax and GoldTrax modules has not been available for some time. However, Discovery can continue to supply these older chips until their supply runs out.
