Went detecting today for the first time in months and it worked out great. Found about 70 cents in coins, a University of Texas Longhorn medallion and a nice little silver ear ring with turquoise insert. But the real gift was that I didnt experience dizziness when standing up from getting down to dig.
A couple of years ago, I started getting dizzy when standing up from laying down, or from sitting down and expecially after standing up from kneeling down to dig targets. The dizziness was so bad that I often fell on my keester if not holding on to something. That condition is called Orthostasis and is not uncommon for some old codgers like me. We experimented around with my blood pressure medicine untill the condition improved but it still was really uncomfortable when digging targets. I searched all around for a good looking women who wonted to go with me, I would detect and she would dig, that was the plan. But that didnt work out and I quit detecting almost completely for almost two years. I would try it now and then but it was too uncomfortable.......untill today. It sure felt good to stand up without the world spinning around. And please......dont no one email me and tell me that my problem was caused by global warming.
