The last chip upgrade for the Goldtrax was in December of 1995, but the Goldtrax can still match, or better, most of the top end detectors in my mild ground. For a lot of years I spent a lot of time and money trying almost every new top end detector that was released, but for me none of them matched the Barons in overall performance.
