That type of insulators probably date at least to the early 1900's and are usually highly collectable. My wife and I were kinda into bottle hunting back in the late 1960's and we found a couple similar to those in the original Aberdeen, MS city dump. Bottle hunting is what got me started detecting, I bought a BFO kit detector in 1969 to use at old homesites to find where the folks who lived there discarded their garbage.
Jim and I had a hunt planned today but from what I can see from my back door it looks like we're rained out.
