I haven't used the Cointrax, or A&S either, since Mr Bill sent the SST but I used it often before then. I use the two new standard disc modes with the staccato audio set to sound on iron and small foil, basically the same range as the Goldtrax staccato in all metal mode. I run in all metal mode at least half the time, if not more. Problem is that I have a hard time choosing which Baron to use 
. For jewelry hunting it's no contest, the Goldtrax in all metal mode with the widescan coil; for deep coin hunting in disc mode it's the Cointrax; for short hunts or newer places it was the A&S before Mr Bill sent the SST. All of the Barons are damn good, choosing which one to use can be a problem.
