Thank you Mr. Bill.. You are of course spot-on the case is indeed nylon, does that make it a later or earlier version? The labels on the side of the case look suprisingly new to me even though the chip inside is dated ten years.. Having said that I tried a little identification of various metals (Brass, Iron, Alloy, Steel, Pewter..) and the Cointrax sorted them all out into different grades... Over here in the UK we dont have cents and dollars but I got the gist of what I was being told very reliably it seems by this machine.
I am looking forward to posting a few bits and pieces here in the future. What an interesting hobby this is turning out to be.
