Thanks for posting the photo shop Fisher setup by Joe Patrick, I think I remember seeing this now. I had forgot about fisher having the same type of handle as Compass, That's good news making it easier finding this type of shaft.
That is a good idea mounting the batteries below the arm-rest, I though about doing this on this particular setup and even have a C-Scope CS-6 armrest with the built in 8AA battery setup but now I may just leave it alone keeping the batteries inside the Baron housing...For some reason the Baron doesn't feel so heavy anymore even with the original stock S-handle setup, Maybe it's because I'm slowing down taking my time enjoying the hobby even more.
Below, Are the CoinTrax and Compass GoldScanner Pro using the same type handle. Both feel the same no difference in weight or balance, They can almost pass as identical twins
