I'm experiencing different discrimination level results from good ground vs. bad ground, In this case in areas like tot lots, clean sandy areas or good/fair mineral ground the all-metal disc mode operates petty darn close to flawless, But here in the rivers or up in the lake the poor mineralization and heavy iron contents effects the all-metal disc.
Despite all-metal disc getting fooled more in poor mineralized ground it still punches a deep signal into the poor soil, The only other detector capable of doing this are the Pi detectors but they don't get the real small stuff I am getting with the Cointrax all-metal.
I'll continue to use the Cointrax and learn from the audio signals which rusty targets to avoid, It's a whole new learning experience and every trip out my rusty finds ratio is getting less each trip out.
I think I found my secret VLF metal detector weapon
