Well, Another CoinTrax all-metal gold jewelry find today, That makes three pieces of gold in 9 days.
Went back to one of our local swimming spots this afternoon, Picked up a nice looking Medium size Mans 10K wedding band. The other two pieces (14K .33 carat diamond earring & 10K kiddies ring) are last weeks finds, All found using the Cointrax all-metal mode and in the water. The diamond is .33 carat, And the earring stud is 14K White gold.
I'm finally getting familiar with using the proper all-metal sens setting, For a while was using too high all-metal sensitivity in the water and finally settled with using a lower sens. Even tried the smaller 5.5 " coil today but ended up going back with the stock 8" for more coverage, Both coils are waterproof and had to fill the inside of the lower coil shaft with aquarium pebbles to weigh down the lower end. The aquarium pebbles inside the lower shaft really do help keep the 8" coil from floating 
Looks like this CoinTrax all-metal setup is going to do well for gold jewelry, And the Baron housing is safely secured inside my back pack behind my shoulders away from any chance of a water accident.
