The Barons do hit hard on gold jewelry, Funny thing about the three modules is each one has an edge over the other modules for different types of detecting and for fresh water detecting in my area it appears the CoinTrax all-metal setup works best for this particular type of detecting.
Plus, I found a gold chain two weeks ago inside my sandscoop but can't count that one because my detector (GoldQuest Pi) didn't actually detect the gold chain (Too thin) and was responding to a pull tab instead, My scoop happened to catch the gold chain while going after the pull tab
