They are simple to use and are excellent performing target id, coin and jewelry units. They need to suck it up and do a bit of advertising.... and then as sales pick up produce a few other models. But keep them all relatively easy to use, they need to remember that their engineers aren't out there in the field with us. I'll never leave my SST....look at all the high grade gold it has produced for me..( see some of my previous posts)! I have no interest in the complex hard to figure out Baron's . They are the "problem" and the cause for the demise of the line. I want a detector that doesn't become a Rubick's cube, out in the field. I go out to metal detect not fiddle with dials, and push buttons as do my DFX and Minelab Explorer buddies . And to top it off I beat them in quantity and quality of finds 80 percent of the time. They come home with great programs I come home with great finds!!! Look at all the big sellers in the industry today....they all promote ease of use..... just my 5 cents worth!!
