I have the standard Disc mode set with the solidly lit LED on 7 and the blinking LED on 6 and the all metal mode with both the solidly lit and blinking LED's on 7. At those settings the Cointrax gives a normal low tone audio response on a small thin gold ring with a broken band in disc mode and a normal signal in all metal mode, moving the LED one segment higher in either mode and the ring gives a staccato audio response. Photo shows the ring I used to set the staccato audio.
