Parking lot.....

There's a parking lot between the highschool and football field, inside the white outline, that has a couple of inches of gravel and slag on it. It's maybe 25 by 40 yards long and used by students for parking during school and also for parking at home football and baseball games. A couple of weeks ago I asked two park and recreation guys who have detectors they seldom use if they had ever hunted it, they told me they usually hunted it after home ball games but never found many coins there.
 The last couple of days I spent about 4 hours total hunting maybe half of the parking lot, switching between the A&S Baron, Golden µMax and 1974 Coinhustler TR, and so far have found $9.53, the doodads in the photo and a SanDisk Cruzer 2 GB flash drive. The flash drive had five songs on it and works fine. Most of the coins were were in the gravel, a few I dug out of the hardpan but left a bunch that were too deep to get out without a hammer and chisel. The flash drive and most of the clean coins were on top of the gravel and seen before I got to them with the detectors. Photo is only the clad and nickels, left the 83 pennies out. Rather be finding silver but sometimes we have to take what we get
