Jimmy Sierra made a post last month on his forum, second post down at http://www.dfxonly.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5957&highlight=discovery, to the effect that Discovery Electronics is now building his coils for Whites detectors. Too bad they won't consider building a few for the Barons
. Here's the post Sierra made.

Post subject: jimmy sierra loops
Hi OUtdoors 2i
I feel like the guy crying "wolf". I have been promising our Jimmy Sierra coils were coming soon for so long that I am beginning to doubt my own words. The facts are that we have never really had any floor stock since Jim Karbowski died a year ago last June. that is almost 18 months. I never thought it would take this long, but the job was enormous. First I had to get the coils reverse engineered as Jim left no real information behind. His notes were impossible to understand. However, Bill Lahr in LA was able to get the Bigfoot and 25 inch MFF coils done as they are my most popular. We suspended the 15 inch MFF and Hotshot before Jim died as they overlapped Whites factory coils . We may make some Hotfoot coils when we get back on track. I thought this would be the hard part, but it seems the production system was the most difficult. The coils are fully hand made and our new facility for production is Discovery Electronics in Sweet Home, Oregon
They were able to finish a few partially done loops left behind by Jim, but they went quickly to my dealers. Discovery is finally just about finished with manufacturing procedures and hopes to begin sending us product in dribbles to start. I went up to Oregon to visit his facility this last week and it looks like he is coming....of course not fast as we like, but I have learned to be patient. I do see some light at the end of the tunnel. We will start with XLT (6.5 khz) and DFX/MXT 25 inch coils and Bigfoot loops. Keep your eye on our jimmysierra.com website. best regards, Jimmy
