The top photo shows Mr Bill's Cobra II board, at least I think it's his. The ground balance pot is a 500 ohm trimmer located where the red 1 is, the threshold pot is a 50k trimmer and located where the red 2 is. Just desolder the trimmer pots, solder wires to the board and run them to faceplate mounted pots.
