Willy, I know you're familiar with with the MXT prospecting iron grunt feature and the GMT iron grunt feature. Look at the Cointrax as having a same similar feature only using the staccato audio similar to the iron grunt, One of the many advantages the Cointrax has the MXT or GMT doesn't have is the staccato is adjustable while the MXT prospecting mode and GMT are preset.
With the Cointrax all-metal you can fine tune this to a desired level for certain hunting conditions, Even adjust high enough to detect only copper pennies, dimes and quarters avoiding every thing below.
It's a neat feature, And the Cointrax all-metal handles fresh water mineralization very well which is good for tiny ear ring studs or the smallest of gold jewerly finds most other detectors miss due to masking.
