Thanks Rich for sharing the two-box separation of Whites and Discovery, And you help with the making what the TF-900 is today. Ed Milota is the man who got me going with my first two box, Can still remember to this day when he was training me my with my first and only lesson. From there, kept in touch and would visit him once in a while and since always had a two box most of my detecting career. He always said a person can make a living with a two-box, Not so much in finding treasure but locating buried objects for people or tracing underground pipes and such using the tracing attachment. He would easily make $500.00 plus a day locating septic tanks and other important buried metal objects, He was successful in his business and enjoyed every minute if it. Ed said the same thing about Whites TM-808, Older circuitry and only had one SAT speed. It's a decent two box but not the same as a TF-900, And an older Whites 800 is a good unit too. Anyway, Below is one of the areas I will be searching soon with a Two-box. With permission from a property owner I can detect an area once filled with thousands of gold rush miners, Many rock foundations still remain and are nested deep in the hills. The fellow in the pic below is a good friend , Paul (Ca)
