Hi Paul,
Yes I can run the Mark 1 full sens with the DD, I may take her out for another spin with the DD for fun this coming week.
The Fisher DD operates best with the Whites detectors especially series 3 detectors, Doesn't loose as much depth or sensitivity as with the Mark 1.
But if it's a means of operating in tougher ground then the fisher DD helps the Mark 1 operate with better stabitily.
