JB, thoughts of your past problem rushed into my mind, when I grabbed my Baron CT unit to use after getting fired up by my friend Frank in NH.
I had deceided to install a Deep Hunter module in the back end, just to see how it would perform with the CoinTrax module. I had read a comment George had made years ago about using the Deep Hunter with the CT unit.
Got everything set up, turned it on, just dead. Un-pluged power cord on the deep hunter module, and the main unit worked. Hmmm, must have problem with deep hunter I thought. Took everything apart, and re-assembled it on the bench, still couldn't find the problem. Well I should have knowen, wire broken off inside battery connector. That will do it every time. With the 2 battery packs on top of one another, the pressure had made a poor connection work. As I moved the unit it stoped working. All soldered up, and fixed.
