I remember that post. I tried the Deephunter module a couple of times with the Cointrax module but didn't find anything the Cointrax wouldn't have got without it. It did add depth in air test though, so I just didn't swing over any deep targets while using it. With the DeepSearch mode turned on the Cointrax 2.2 goes more than deep enough for an old arthritic geriatric like me anyway

You made a post a couple of years ago in which you said, "Compared to today’s detectors, the Barons were years ahead of their time in performance. I would go out on a limb here, and say they are perhaps the deepest units out there still today." I still think that's true. Even my A&S with the 5.5 coil gets pretty amazing depth here, in fact I use that combination probably 80 percent of the time now. It's not as deep as the Cointrax but I've dug coins just as deep or deeper using it as I have while using all but two or three of the too many other detectors I've had.
