At least you did if it works as well as the one I had. Great for coin hunting and also hot on gold jewelry, but it has what Tesoro calls "120 degree" disc and won't get some of the small chains and other tiny stuff. It worked almost exactly like the two Golden Sabre II's I had, including the same type audio, but it had about two inches more depth. Cobra II, Viper and A&S Barons have basically the same audio and notch, except they don't have notch accept, and go a lot deeper. I sold my King Cobra about six years ago, about the time I got the Golden µMax, and still wish I had kept it. It got about the same depth as the Golden, maybe a tad deeper, but I liked he audio and the notch setup better.
The Goldtrax in all metal mode is an awesome jewelry machine with the 6X9 coil once you learn the the variances in the audio. It doesn't have the audio variances with the concentric coils, at least they not as pronounced, but it goes deep with the 8 or 10 inch coils and works well in trash with the widescan or 5.5 coil. Easy to tell small foil, pencil erasor bands and a lot of the aluminum can slaw, and the staccato iron audio also has variations that make tiny gold chains sound different from small iron, sort of a fluttery sound, Jbird calls it a flatulent sound, that iron never gives.
