High 40's during the day but 15-20 mph wind from the north with gusts up to 30 that kept the wind chill in the mid 30's. 29 degrees yesterday morning and 31 this morning and although the wind is still blowing it's in the low 70's and the ground is still wet, just right for detecting and easy digging 
. I seldom mention it but I dig a lot of nonferrous trash because that's where a lot of goodies are. The few other people around here who detect either hunt coins and reject as much trash as they can or hunt exclusively for relics. That leaves the oddball and unusual goodies that wouldn't be found otherwise for me to find.
