Went to work in Edmonton for a few days and went detecting after work with a buddy.
Hunted a couple of city parks, not used to that, sure is a lot of trash in those parks!
Not much time so I cherry picked deep coin signals, managed a few keepers
The first day I found a 1909 dime, a worn 1919 quarter, a 1915 large cent and a tiny silver heart pendant
The second evening I managed two silver quarters from the 60's, '27 & '29 pennies and a 1905 Indian Head penny.
I dont find many of those so that was a gooder. Also found 10 or 12 pennies from the 40's but I didnt take a picture of them
Tonight I went back to the old home site. Wandered around trying to figure out where the house, barn and out buildings were.
Not many coins and no silver today
Did find a couple of pennies from the 40's and a nice '32 penny
Found this big 1953 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation medallion
And this mystery coin, its a bit crusty but it is dated 1907 and appears to have a two headed bird on one side. Its about the size of a penny
Dug alot of copper and brass targets, mostly junk but I do like this copper buckle
I like this find the best, not sure what it is, but its cool
Hope to get out there again soon, lots of targets and its probably 2 acres
