I agree 100 percent. I think my A&S Special, which is a Cobra II sold by the A&S company, with the ground balance and threshold mods is the best detector I've used for coin hunting. In the last 20 years I've had a lot of detectors, probably as many as anyone on the forums, and for strictly coin hunting I wouldn't trade the A&S for any other detector. It goes deep in my ground, even with the 5.5 inch coil. The disc setup and tones make ID'ing coins a snap, and it's also great for relic and jewelry hunting. I've always said that no one detector could do it all, but the A&S/Cobra II with the ground balance and threshold mods is very close to being one that can. Mr Bill's Cobra II is a super deal for anyone wanting an excellent, easy to use multi-purpose detector for coin, relic and jewelry hunting.
