I keep it maxed out on the Goldtrax and A&S except when hunting around playground equipment, metal fences and other large metal objects, or where there's a lot of iron in the ground. That makes deep coin size targets sound pretty much the same as shallow ones, at least until the target is close to the edge of their depth range, but their all metal modes are outstanding for judging the depth of coin size targets.
