Hi Guys,
I am doing research on a few different detectors for my annual addition to the arsenal, and am trying to learn about the various Treasure Barons as one of the potential units for park and school hunting, with a little ghost town hunting thrown in for laughs.
I am studying up on the new discriminating PI units as well as a couple of VLF machines I have under consideration.
The Treasure Barons seem to me from what i have been able to learn off the forums, to be one of those lesser known but highly respected machines that a few knowledgeable Detectorists really like.
I am up in the Vancouver B.C. Canada area and we have some very negative , (magnetic iron) mineralized soil so ability to handle bad ground is important particularly in the old mining towns, as well as iron rejection with good unmasking of non ferrous targets in close proximity. Any experience with these type of hunting conditions/scenarios would be very valuable to me.
Also I would like to know, for the last/latest version of the Millenium Baron 2 Cointrax, (as offered for sale at Surfscanner), how many different coils are available, and what types and sizes, ie: DD, concentric, elliptical, etc.
Thanks for any help you can offer,
Drew
