Between the storms, and not feeling well, I haven't been able to get out with a detector for the last week or so but I got in a short hunt today. Heat index was 101 so I didn't last long, and didn't find much but could be a goodie or two there for later. Two scroungy wheaties, a 1936 and what looks to be a 1918, and a couple of early memorial pennies, but there's a big area that hasn't been hunted so maybe something better will come up in future hunts. Speaking of storms, the emergency weather alert on cable just came on and said there was another storm coming this way out of Tennessee that has half dollar size hail. On the radar it looks like we'll barely get the western edge of it, but gonna be tough on some considering the damage already done in this area from the other storms.
