I had to mow, trim up and weedeat the yard today. Very hot work as it was 94 with a 101 heat index, but since I was already soaked with sweat I rode up to the ballfields and started hunting a small graveled parking area I haven't hunted before. Started with the Golden µMax, but besides getting serious interference it beeped almost nonstop. Put it back and got the A&S out, no interference but like the Golden it was beeping almost nonstop. I pinpointed one of the beeps and got a quarter and two nickels in the same hole, six inches away were five pennies that came up together. In an area not much bigger than a car, approximately where the red square is in the bottom photo, I got 9 quarters, 10 dimes, 6 nickels and 58 pennies. Except for maybe four times every signal was two or more coins, and three to five coins several times. One of the dimes was about 5 inches down the other coins were barely under the surface. I only stayed 20 to 25 minutes before I burned out, but was still getting multiple coin signals on every swing when I quit. I told the park and rec guys they should hunt the place as they usually only get four of five coins on a hunt, and they're happy with finding newer coins.
