Treasure Baron 5.5" coil

I have one of these and never got out to try it. How is the depth compared to the standard 8 inch? I also have a tip to pass to others using this coil. Need a coil cover? The older Sunray 5"(closer to 5.5") coil covers for the Minelab sovereign and explorer detectors fit to a 'T'. The current series are about an 1/8" bigger so you'll have to use tape or silicone around the coil for a tight fit. The coil covers are black and solid,not open centered.
