First Buffalo nickel in a long time, a 1936. Dimes are 1919, 1929 and 1943 and quarter is a 1941. The six wheaties range from 1938 to 1954. Also got four clad dimes, a clad quarter, several memorial pennies, a depression era tax token, a junk ring with "I love you" engraved repeatedly around the band and typical homesite junk. I used the A&S, mostly with the 8 inch coil, and quarter was deepest coin at about 7 inches. Don't know exactly what Denny got but he had a few wheaties and quite a few clad and memorial pennies. He also lucked up when we were putting our stuff up to leave. He still had his detector turned on, the Golden µMax I sold him, and set his coil down on a fairly large, bent up 14k womens gold ring that was on top of the gravel in what was the parking area when the restaurant was open! Photos below show where we hunted, the first one shows what was a store and later a restaurant, it was in use from the 1920's or 30's until about 5 years ago. The house dates from around 1900 or earlier and has been empty for several years. The land that goes with the buildings is a block long and half a block deep, but we pretty much only hunted between the two buildings. Lots of area left to cover. That's Denny in the bottom photo, swinging the Golden.
