I've never used rechargeables, but there's some posts in the archives, including a couple by George Payne, that says it's okay to use Nimh batteries. Also a couple of posts that say if your Baron has the built in charging circuits the nicad charger that was recommended for the Barons, Radio Shack # 273-1610 that puts out 13 volts AC at 800mA, will work okay with them.
