I'm retired and hunt at least awhile almost every day it's not raining, and considering the other guys who hunt around the parks, playgrounds and ballfields usually discriminate out everything below copper pennies, that's not an extraordinary amount of nickels for the time I've spent detecting. I just wish the 15 pounds or so of dirty pennies I found on the same hunts were nickels, or better yet dimes or quarters
. I haven't found many rings this year. Far less than usual, but probably because I've been using the A&S instead of the Goldtrax and concentrating more on coins and not digging as many questionable signals. A couple of small gold girls rings, a platinum class ring, a wedding band a lady in her 80's lost and three or four silver rings are the only good ones so far. Have found quite a few junk rings, but overall well below what I normally find. I need to break out the Goldtrax and see if I can find a few
