We've had storms and rain, mostly rain, for the last week and there's water everywhere. Makes for easy digging though as the ground is softer than it's been since back in March or early April. Back is still bothering me, but I went out this morning to give it a try. Got rained out as soon as I got there, and also got soaking wet so that hunt didn't last long. Went back this afternoon after the rain stopped, waded water and found a pocket full of clad, four nickels and very few pennies considering the number of other coins, also a 10k ear ring and an "Old Timer" pocket knife that's seen better days. Bad storm came up, real bad, and I had to leave before I was ready to leave, but the time I got to hunt surely beat sitting inside listening to the rain hit the roof. Some of you other guys needs to start posting some finds, looks bad to be bragging up the Barons when no one is finding anything with them
