I noticed you said you were using iron reject again. I thought from your real old posts, that you rarely rejected iron.
Years back I asked about the iron reject, and does it "reduce depth". Back then I think I wasn't clear enough about that. What I meant was, if you went over some deep good targets with iron rejected, would the detector reject them as a possible iron target if it was so far out of disc range? and if the reject was turned off, would the detector now give some sort of repeatable signal of some tone?....rather than be silent with the reject "on".?
I picked up the habit of always using the reject, but always wondered if I have missed alot. I started rejecting mostly on well used modern sites but sometimes I do not reject when I am woods hunting.
When I am way out deep in the woods, I never reject, as I use the iron signals to find where "somebody was"
