any body here do remodeling on the old red baron to get rid of some of the weight, and if so, what would it cost me and how long would it take to get the job done? i bought a fisher f-70 for the weight of the baron limited me on how long i could hunt. 67 with a bad shoulder. Got the baron out last week, after using the fisher for about an hour at an old plantation here in central louisiana, Tyrone Plantation. lots of iron and wasn't finding much. switched to the baron and found a couple of silver dimes,6 wheatback cents and dug up an old revolver, about 45 caliber. have to get it cleaned up to see just what it is. love my baron, but it kills my shoulder if i use it 3 or 4 hours at a time.
