I know many have issues with the weight and I probably will as time goes by, but I think the case is an oustanding design. I've used the belt slots a few times for long hunts and they work fine. But usually I grab and go and it doesn't bother me as long as it's less than an hour or so. That case is built tough. What other detectors remind one of a Mag-Lite?
