Youre right, the new configuration does not accept modules. Since I already have 2 modular Barons I decided to convert the 'Relic Boss' into a light weight, better balanced grab and go basic Baron.
Heres a pic of a Baron on a straight shaft, I believe Paul may of made this one. I bet it is very well balanced and nice to swing. I am also thinking of making a similar pole since the control box wouldnt have to be modified at all
