Since the 1 & 2 LED's are lighting in disc mode you must have the Standard Disc mode turned on and the DeepSearch mode activated. That's how it works if you don't have the staccato audio activated. Try it in the Standard Disc All metal mode with the staccato audio activated and the solid lit LED on 3 or 4 and blinking LED on 2 or 3. I've never hunted nuggets, have only seen one except in photos, but from finding tiny ear ring studs and links from gold chains I would think a small nugget would be in the iron range and should trigger the staccato audio with the settings I mentioned, but Mr Bill has checked several small nuggets and can probably help more than I can as far as how to set your Cointrax up for nugget hunting.
