JB and Mr. Bill made the setting as instructed and proceeded to test - on screws and nails the staccato sound was made and regular beep was made on my gold wedding ring - but on the gold nugget and flakes it hit the staccato sound with the err and iron lights on the led panel. It would do that either the first or second pass - changed the settings to solid 6 and blinking 7 and staccato sound and err and iron lights on every pass - is that normal for gold?
