Besides the price,Deus gives you the latest tech. always. My Deus came out in 2010 with the 1.2 version in it. 2011 Deus came out with the2.0 version and I was able to download the 2.0 into mine, so I now have the latest Deus detector out there. In 2012 they'll come out with the 3.0 and I'll be able to download it into mine. Any other detector offer the same? Free. You pay once for a new detector. the 1.2 didn't have a non-motion disc. mode, I have 4 non-motion disc. modes now.All detector lovers will take a shine to this one.
