Thanks JB for sharing your old Master Hunter 7ADS with us, Yours is a beauty and I see you have the two box attachment. Really nice setup you have there, And can can see how anyone would appreciate using other detectors due to the 7 ADS having this form of handle setup I know it's a killer on both arm and wrist. Never seen on up close but do intend to get one someday in the future, Have come across them on eBay but for one reason or another the 7 ADS eludes my collection. A friend of mine gave me several Gazette field test reports, One of them is on the Master Hunter 7 ADS just like yours. I wonder if you were to add an arm-rest bet that would make swinging a little bit easier, Still would be tough on the wrist because of the handle angle but at least be easier on the arm Here's a couple of pics from the Gazette field report, Gives examples of field test from three different (Texas-Wisconsin-Oregon) States. Left out the Oregon report and that field test fared less due to the High Mineral soil, Texas soil on the other hand (Low Mineral) test results were more positive and would be a good test report to compare with your soil. My Garrett BFO green lunch box units have this same setup, So shouldn't be too tough on my arm if I ever come across one. Thanks again for sharing the ADS 7, Paul (Ca)
