The "sound of money" belltone audio is addictive 
. The Freedom III's are darn good detectors for hunting coins, get good depth and are great for cherry picking higher coins. I said in a post below that for my use I would choose them over any other Garrett, including their latest models, and I wasn't bs'ing. In case you don't know, when the batteries get low and need replacing only two usually are down. The battery closest to the faceplate lasts a long time, two to three times as long as the other two.
