Should have included above the gold jewerly setup I was referring too uses both all-metal and disc mode.
However, the user can use one mode if he or she prefers especially disc mode set right at the nickel breaking point, iron and low conductive signals will produce a low tone but the staccato audio and visual LED will alert the user if it's iron.
