The park and rec guys have been hunting the yard of the head park and rec guy. His house was built in the 1890's and has a big yard that had never been hunted. They've hunted it five or six times and the relative who works for park and rec has found 10 or 12 wheaties dating to 1913, three indian head pennies and a few newer coins, the other park and rec guy has only found five or six newer pennies. No silver coins yet, but it's tough hunting as most of the yard is literally saturated with all kinds of trash, and there's also some serious electrical interference. I hunted there with them on their lunch break today and got a couple of late wheaties, several pennies and dimes that date from mid 1960's but the best find was a play coin in the photo. I've found a lot of play coins, but this one has "falsa pecunia" on it. A search indicates it means "false money". Odd. It also has "Uncle Sam 1949" and a cowboy head on it. It's worthless, but I like finding stuff like that.
