Here is a link the schematics of a base board Baron:

In the middle of the schematic is the notch schematic in dotted outline.

Open your base unit, on the left front is where the componets go. Just plug them in & solder.

Best bet is to use the Pro Hunter. Along with manual GB, and notch you get a target depth gauge, and the ability to control the "Auto Tune", on or off.
