The Cobra II, like all the other Baron models, has full 180 degree discrimination. The dual tone Barons are different in that have a dual function pot that sets the audio break point between high and low tones that's also push/push switch that allows accepting or discriminating out iron and the very low end of the foil range. In effect it allows switching between 180 degree disc and somewhere around 120 degree disc. It's a good feature, made better by being able set it for low tones on iron ,or both iron and foil, and high tones for nickels and higher coins.
