Well JB, I decided to go back this evening and search the area between the bank and the school. Found a fair amount of junk like shotgun shells and wads of aluminium foil. Then I lucked up and got 2 Indians back to back. They were shallow and maybe 4 feet apart. Can't tell the dates but that area is sure looking promising. Still not a single Civil War era bullet.
