Don't live there, but there are the Durham Aids Committee fundraising dances, held on the 1st Saturday of the month, Sept/Oct - May. They don't hold them during the summer -- too many people out of town etc. It's a mixed event, but the drinks are cheap and the pop is cheaper: free! (as are the nibblies at 11:00) Last dance of the season poster:
